MAIN FAQs
Q: Hey.
A: Sup.
Q: Alright, what is this?
A: My company website.
Q: I KNOW THAT! Seriously, what is this?!
A: Oh. Basically, this is the place to find my art and stories. I've been drawing and writing for a long time, so I think it's time to put a site up.
Q: What would've you done if this was 1982?
A: Hustle people in flea markets.
Q: Okay, so where's your stuff at?
A: The frame to the left has the links to the artwork, literature, and thoughts blog.
Q: Now that I'm thinkin' about it, what's with those symbols behind them?
A: Get used to them. They'll be around for a long time.
Q: Don't tell me what to do!
A: I guess you don't read user agreements either.
Q: Anyway, what's with that hand gesture? You look like you could kill somebody if you did that to somebody's face.
A: Good luck tryin' that. I call it "The Trinity" since it forms a triangle. It's based of the theme of the site and the philosophies.
Q: You'll actually do that in public?!
A: Only if someone else does it first. I'm not the odd one here.
Q: Loser.
A: At least I didn't need to read the FAQs.
ARTWORK FAQs
Q: Alright, you said that you've been drawing for years, so how come there's barely any art on the site?
A: The thing is that most of what I've drawn (at least the good stuff on computer) is from sequels to Street Pedal Black and spoilers to CoolEvil. More artwork will appear from commissions and as new books come out, so keep checking back for updates.
Q: So, why did you start drawing?
A: Hell, if I remember.
Q: Another thing: how did you come up with these ideas?
A: .....
Q: Hello?!
A: Oh, sorry. I was on the phone with a client. What were you saying?
Q: I wanted to know how you came up with this stuff!
A: Daydreaming, I guess.
Q: Did you really finish college?!
A: I showed up, and they let me walk across the stage. I guess so.
LITERATURE FAQs
Q: Do you have a life?
A: What's this site called again?!
Q: Well, what possessed you to write all this?
A: Ars Gratis Artis.
Q: You're in America...
A: I just wanted to. Do I NEED a real reason?!!
Q: Okay, so how often will new stuff come out?
A: Depends on how fast I write during the summer mostly.
THOUGHTS FAQs
Q: This should be good.
A: Bring it.
Q: So, what? You think you can preach to the masses?
A: No... but why not do it anyway?
Q: Hey, I ask the questions! What's in this section?
A: Rants, observations, poetry, random thoughts, whatever...
Q: Ok... I just read one, and... I don't know...
A: Respond back so I can answer your concerns. Just make sure you give a mature response.
Q: How often does new stuff come out here?
A: It'll come out randomly... that's it... just randomly. I'm trying to get a schedule, though.
Q: Since when have you been dedicated to anything?
A: I've answered all your questions so far.
COMMISSION FAQs
Q: So you'll draw anything I want?
A: What's that supposed to mean?
Q: I mean, you'll even draw... well...
A: Alright, hold up!
Q: WHAT????!!
A: You can get all that stuff free on the Internet, not here! I'll do nudes only in "good taste" and teaser pics. That's the best you're gettin' outta me!
Q: Damn, alright, just askin'! So, how fast do you do commissions?
A: Anything requiring hand-drawn art should be ready in about two weeks (It doesn't take me that long to draw, but because of work, multiple projects, and procrastination, I use that much time). Flyers should be ready in 3 days to a week, but you should ask for those a few weeks in advance in case changes come up. Regardless, I'll work as fast as I can.
Q: So, do you make web pages, too?
A: Talk to me after class.
Q: Do you draw copyrighted characters?
A: No. Fair use laws are too vague.
Q: What about real people?
A: Man, you ask a lot of questions.
Q: You're the one writing this!
A: Well anyway, I draw people in my own artistic style - I'm still honing my skills. (The only art lesson I ever got was in shading.)
Q: Alright, how do I pay for all this?
A: The best way is through PayPal. The way this'll work is:
1. You e-mail me at Commissions@Life-Forever.net and describe what you want IN EXTREME DETAIL.
2. I give you an estimate on the final price along with turnaround times (you let me know if this is a rush at this point).
3. You pay the $30 Sketch Deposit plus any rush charges ($20 is nonrefundable, and this is when the two-week period starts).
4. Within three to five days, I make the sketch and e-mail previews until you get what you ask for.
5. When the sketch is approved, additional work (digital or otherwise) is done.
5. I e-mail a reduced-quality version of the pic with watermarks, along with final invoices and other necessary forms.
6. You pay the remainder.
7. ONLY when is RECEIVED IN FULL, I send you the full pic via email, disks, etc. (You'll get a receipt upon request.)
Q: What if I want it on one of the items in the shop?
A: If it has my characters, it'll eventually get there. Otherwise, you can go to CafePress or somewhere else yourself and get it made.
Q: What if I need it in a hurry?
A: Not my fault you don't plan ahead.
Q: Seriously, man!
A: Alright, alright! Rush charges are an additional $5/day minus the standard two-week turnaround. Art needed within 3 days is $75 + Total Invoice. My policy is to be fully negotiable with any late rush orders, but keep in mind that rushes will not always be available (I will let you know beforehand).
Q: Complexity charges?
A: If you want me to draw you and your two friends, fine. If you want me to draw them with 8 AK-47s in the background in an exact replica of your neighbor's living room in a car with a stop sign driven through its left tailpipe, then you'll have to ante up a bit. It goes at an hourly rate according to how long I initially believe the work will take (which I tell you in advance and time while I'm working).
Q: Alright, so does anybody else draw these besides you?
A: I'm the only one here at Life-Forever.Com.
Q: So... are you looking for other artists?
A: Right now, I'll be the only one here for a while. Down the line, I may enlist someone else.
Q: Okay. Do you take reques-
A: Thanks for playing.
